The ECDL Advanced Presentation (AM6) certification covers advanced presentation features that will allow you to use the presentation application to its full potential. The syllabus covers the following areas: 1. Design considerations
Understand how audience and environment considerations impact on the planning of a presentation, how your audience demography and subject-knowledge impacts on its ability to assimilate information and how to use images, pictures and charts to create impact.
2. Slides
Acquire the skills to customise the layout of presentations, merge presentations, merge word processed documents into presentations and save slides into different formats.
3. Pictures, Images and Drawn Objects Manipulate, edit and apply effects to images, pictures and drawn objects in your presentation.
4. Charts/Graphs Create and manipulate charts to create professional-looking advanced presentations.
5. Multimedia Use sound and video in presentations or introduce and modify animations in presentations to add visual impact.
6. Managing Presentations Use slide show control tools to hyperlink to other presentations, documents, spreadsheets or Websites from a presentation. Apply different slide transition options and settings and create customised shows.
7. Relating Information Use the powerful linking function to link text from a document, a range from a worksheet or a spreadsheet generated chart into a slide and display as an object. Linked information remains constantly updated saving you time and keeping information current
