Based on the Guidelines of the ECDL Foundation a detailed set of regulations are communicated to the ECDL Approved Centres which include the:

• Operation of the ECDL Approved Test Center
• ECDL Candidates, their authentication and behaviour during the test process
• ECDL Logbooks (known as Skills Cards in other countries)
• ECDL Test Process including the booking, confirmation and delivery of the test
• Issue of test results
• Use of authentic software for testing
• Uese of authentic materials for training
• Marketing of the ECDL

Each ECDL Approved Centre signs a contract agreement in which the above are included and addressed in detail.
