Recognizing the need for certification of IT skills in specific and vertical markets, the ECDL Foundation has introduced the Specialized Certifications whcih currently cover three domains:
Computer Aided Design ( ECDL CAD)
Photo and picture editing (ECDL ImageMaker)
Web Design (ECDL WebStarter)
ECDL Cyprus has grouped these three certifications under the "Design" category and interested candidates who complete all 3 modules will receive the ECDL Design Certificate which shows all 3 modules on it.
For anyone using 2-dimensional Computer Aided Design (2D CAD) it is important to have the core skills required to be able to use 2D CAD software to its full potential and to be able to demonstrate those skills to employers and potential employers.
ECDL / ICDL for Computer Aided Design (ECDL CAD) offers Candidates the opportunity to certify their core 2D CAD skills to an international standard.
Developed by the ECDL Foundation, ECDL Image Editing is a new certification designed to give you the knowledge required to use and manipulate digital images.
ECDL Image Editinggives you the practical skills you need to get the most out of your digital images. This makes ECDL ImageMaker an ideal certification for second-level students, small businesses, community groups or individuals and junior photographers.
The test is given both in the English and Greek languages (on the same paper). The test is given using the Photoshop software. Please enquire about other options.
Developed by the ECDL Foundation, ECDL / ICDL Web Editing is a new certification designed to give you the skills required to design, create and maintain a Web site.
ECDL / ICDL Web Editing has been specifically designed for anyone who wants to acquire the skills to create and maintain a Web site without having to commit to the time and expense of a professional level Web design programme.
The test is given using the DREAMWEAVER software. Please enquire about other options.
